Returns & Exchanges

RETURNS & EXCHANGES ARE EXTENDED FOR CHRISTMAS! For Christmas gift purchases made from the 13th of November 2024 right up until Christmas Eve, we are pleased to provide you with an extension on returns until Sunday 12th January 2025, or 30 days from the date of purchase (whichever is later) to exchange or return your items as long as all other return conditions are met. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

We will happily exchange or refund providing the following conditions have been met:

  1. The item with the original receipt is returned within 30 days of purchase.
  2. Items must be in original condition as purchased, with all labels/tickets/packaging attached. If your purchase includes garments, they must not have been washed or worn.
  3. The item must not have been personalised.

Please note that our change of mind refund & exchange policy set out above does not affect or limit your consumer law rights and the consumer guarantees under those laws in any way (eg. for items that are faulty or don't match the description).

Variation To Refund & Exchange Policy For Items Purchased With Afterpay & Zip

An item purchased online using Afterpay or Zip as tender can be:

  1. Refunded by posting it to our Online Store Returns/Exchange address or
  2. Exchanged in store for product or a gift card by visiting the relevant brand's retail store in Australia (ie. items bought at Peter Alexander, Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Smiggle, Portmans, Dotti and Jacqui E can only be returned to the store of the same brand). Gift cards will also be issued for any difference between the item exchanged and the amount originally paid.

We are unable to issue refunds in store where Afterpay or Zip was used as tender. All refunds and exchanges are subject to our refund and exchange policy having been met.

Purchases made in Portmans stores

Purchases made in a Portmans Australian retail store can be returned in a Portmans Australian retail store. You must present the receipt you received in the store at the time you purchased your items.

Purchases Made Online in Australian Dollars

You can return an item purchased online:

  1. By visiting the relevant brand's retail store in Australia (ie. items bought at Peter Alexander, Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Smiggle, Portmans, Dotti and Jacqui E can only be returned to the store of the same brand); OR
  2. By completing the below and posting it to our Online Store Returns/Exchange address:

  • Make sure your order number, name, address, email, phone number and instructions are included and any comments.

All returns & exchanges remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by the Just Group. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. Refunds will be processed at the original purchase price using the original form of payment. Delivery charges will not be refunded and standard delivery charges apply on re-delivery for exchanges, unless goods are returned in accordance with your consumer law rights.

International Purchases Made Online via ESW

You can return an item purchased online by submitting your request through the international returns portal. Please allow 48 hours after your order has been delivered before initiating a return.

All returns remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by the Just Group. Please note that an international return delivery charge of AUD $30 applies, and will be deducted from the refund amount.

You will need your order number and the email address used to place the order.

A confirmation email will be sent once we receive your return. Please note that all refunds are subject to inspection by the Just Group. You can track the progress of your return by logging into the international returns portal.

ESW, our partner for international sales, will provide the refund to the original form of payment and at the original purchase price, including any duties and taxes originally paid on the item in the same currency. The original delivery charge will not be refunded, unless goods are returned in accordance with your consumer law rights.

Purchases made in Portmans stores

Purchases made in a Portmans Australian retail store (including purchases in an Australian store for delivery to you) can be exchanged in a Portmans Australian retail store. You must present the receipt you received in the store at the time you purchased your items.

Purchases Made Online in Australian Dollars

You can exchange an item purchased online:

  1. By visiting the relevant brand's retail store in Australia (ie. items bought at Peter Alexander, Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Smiggle, Portmans, Dotti and Jacqui E can only be returned to the store of the same brand); OR
  2. By completing the below and posting it to our Online Store Returns/Exchange address:

  • Make sure your order number, name, address, email, phone number are included along with a list of alternative item(s) in case we have sold out of your first choice.

You can exchange an item purchased online by submitting a return request through the international returns portal to obtain a refund on the item. Then placing a new online order for the item you want the exchange for. Please allow 48 hours after your order has been delivered before initiating a return.
